Visual arts are art subjects, creations and designs that are primarily visual in nature, while this is a broad section of art it tends to cover painting, photography, printmaking, and film making as well as three-dimensional art, sculpture and architecture. The visual arts spectrum broadens as it also includes many other artistic disciplines such as performing arts, language arts, and culinary arts that involve aspects of the visual arts as well as other types.

Visual art should not be seen as a form of disabled arts only, it is a broad area of the arts open and applicable to both the disabled and non disabled.  Because of this a wide selection of visual arts sites are listed in this directory section and are applicable to those with or without a disability.
