2012 Paralympics To Be the Biggest Ever

ParalympicsGB is warming up and due to start on August 29th. We have an impressive and proud selection of disabled athletes representing the UK including archery, athletics, boccia, cycling and goalball to name just a few.
Keep your eyes peeled for the shooting event that we won a gold in the Beijing games, wheelchair basketball, GB men's and women's teams will both be hoping they can come away with a medals, wheelchair fencing, we have a seven strong team that will be battling for medals and of course a wheelchair tennis team that previously won gold and bronze.
Organisers of the 2012 Paralympics are claiming that this will be the largest Paralympic games ever staged so let's keep our fingers crossed for our GB team. In all 165 countries will be competing, this is 19 more countries than the previous Paralympics of 2008.
