Epilepsy (also called a seizure disorder) is a common but chronic neurological disorder with recurrent unprovoked seizures. Epileptic seizures are reported to be signs and symptoms caused by abnormal activity in the brain. It is estimated that around 50 million people around the world have epilepsy.
